What size are Boujee Boubous garments?
Most Boujee Boubous pieces are designed as free-size garments, meaning they are created to fit a wide range of body types. Differences between options are usually based on garment length rather than traditional sizing such as S, M, or L.
How do I choose the right size for me?
We recommend selecting your garment based primarily on your height and preferred length. Product descriptions include guidance to help you choose. If you are unsure, you may contact us before placing your order.
Do you offer custom sizing?
Yes. Customers who require additional width, extended length, or a more personalised fit may place a custom order. Custom orders are recommended for taller or fuller body proportions outside our standard free-size range.
How long does production take?
Production timelines vary depending on the type of garment ordered:
- Ready-to-Wear items: 7–14 business days processing
- Made-to-Order Boubous: up to 30 business days production
- Custom or Bespoke Designs: approximately 6–8 weeks production
These timelines exclude shipping duration, which varies based on destination and courier services.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times depend on your location and courier services. International deliveries may also be affected by customs processing. Once your order has been shipped, delivery timelines are managed by the courier provider.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Ready-to-wear items may be eligible for exchange or store credit if returned unworn and in original condition within the approved return period.
Made-to-order and custom garments are non-refundable, except where an item is faulty.
Why can’t custom or made-to-order items be returned?
Each made-to-order piece is produced specifically for the customer after purchase. Because of this personalised production process, these garments cannot be resold, and therefore refunds are not available unless the item arrives defective.
Will my garment look exactly like the photos?
We aim for accuracy; however, slight variations may occur due to fabric dye batches, lighting, handmade finishing, or pattern placement. These differences are part of the uniqueness of handcrafted garments.
What if my outfit doesn’t fit as expected?
Boubous are designed to have a loose, flowing fit. Fit differences may occur based on body proportions and styling preferences. If alterations are required, we recommend working with a local tailor, as minor adjustments are common with handmade garments.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Orders may only be modified before production begins. Once production has started, cancellations or changes are no longer possible because materials and tailoring processes have already been allocated.
